Information we collect

When you use BusinesSource, we may collect:

• Service business information submitted by service providers during listing signup, including contact details, service area, and payment-related identifiers processed through Stripe.
• Basic usage data (pages visited, general location by city/region) used to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

• To match your service request with a listed service provider and send that request on your behalf.
• To send you a confirmation of your request and a link to browse other listed service providers.
• To operate service provider listings, process subscription payments, and communicate with service providers about their account.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your contact information to third parties.
• We don't send your request to more than one service provider.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing, Microsoft 365 for email delivery, and Anthropic's Claude API to help generate service provider descriptions and FAQ content. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

What BusinesSource is

BusinesSource is a directory and lead-referral service. We connect homeowners with local service businesses by routing quote requests to listed service providers. We are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a service provider, and we don't perform, supervise, or guarantee the work of any listed service business.

No guarantee of service quality

We make reasonable efforts to list accurate service provider information, but we don't verify licensing, insurance, or the quality of any service provider's work unless explicitly stated on that service provider's listing. Use judgment when hiring any service business found through this site.

Service provider listings and payment

Service businesses may purchase a directory listing or a featured placement for a specific service and location. Featured placements are limited to one service business per service-and-location combination and are sold on a subscription basis through Stripe. Listings may be removed for inaccurate information, non-payment, or violation of these terms.

Quote requests

Submitting a quote request sends your contact and service details to one matched service provider. We don't guarantee a response from that service provider, and we aren't responsible for the outcome of any resulting interaction.

Prohibited use

• Submitting false or fraudulent quote requests.
• Scraping, reproducing, or reselling listing data without permission.
• Attempting to interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BusinesSource, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or your interactions with any listed service provider.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
